English 4th Grade.

Hi guys,

Today we worked on Grammar and Spelling.

The Grammar structure we learned was PRESENT PERFECT. We studied and solve pages 3 to 7.

For today you don't have homework, but for those students that didn't come to school I will explain the exercises done in the classroom.

1) Read your page 3, you will find a yellow rectangle in which you have:
INFITIVE PAST PRESENT PERFECT.
to talk talked (have) talked

Then you have an orange chart with a verb list and 3 columns, write INFINITIVE, PAST and PRESENT PERFECT on the top of each column and fill the columns with the correct form of the verb.

2)Read page 4. Identify the Personal Pronouns: I, You, He, She, We, They, You. Now check when do you use HAVE and HAS.

2) On page 5 underline the Personal Pronoun of each sentence and fill in the blanks using HAVE or HAS and the Past Particle of the verb. Check the example.

3) On page 5 you have to use the following Personal Pronouns to write the sentences.
Check the correct form to solve it, this is an example:

VERB: cook
PRESENT PERFECT FORM: (We) have cooked
SENTENCE: We have cooked pasta.

Use the following personal pronouns for this exercise.
1) walk (He)
2) talk (We)
3) play (They)
4) spell (She)
5) answer (You)

SPELLING

1) Review lesson 1. Read the words as fast as you can and check the time.
2) We checked pages 6, 8 and 9.

Español: Libro SEP págs. 171 y 172.
Asimismo les recuerdo que estamos repasando en clases los temas para los examenes finales.
Podrían reafirmar lo que es área, perímetro y volumen de diferentes cuerpos geométricos, en matémáticas; además repasar tablas de multiplicar, conversiones de medidas de peso, longitud, capacidad y tiempo.

Spelling pages 7 and 8 and please do WRPM with words on page 3.

For those who didn't go to school today, let me tell you that we start working AMCO 8 so if you are sick and you are going to miss more classes please tell your parents to go to school to pick your new book so you won't have a lot of pending work.
In case you haven't finish AMCO 7 please also work on it.

Hello guys:

Today's homework is the following. Reading page 5 and 10. On page 5 you need to make a map of The Atlantis, as the one we had for Washington D.C. with the names of streets, parks and if you want to include monuments, you need to label them too. Page 10 is a word puzzle. So... have fun!
Tomorrow we will also check Spelling and Mathematics the first two pages, so if you don´t have them, please finish them.

Remember that if you are not feeling well it is better for you to stay at home.
